A quantity of rain fell today. Only Zac attended Church, he returned to dinner. Carried those letters and George Tebbs promised to take them to Richmond in a day or two. – – It rained in torrents almost all evening. I let Buck go to see his Mama, and gave him ingredients for cakes to get his Mama to make for himself and the little children. – – Cousin LemĀ from some course or other did not attend today. Zac got me some nice raspberries this morning on the river bank.
