Wednesday, 15 March, 1865

Fine weather for work, except being windy, but no farming operations going on. It would be rather hazardous. Tom hoed my asparagus bed and I sowed the middle in kale, also sowed my plant bed. Bettie weeded the onions. – – Mr. Thornton and Hill came by on their way from King and Queen.1 All quiet over there.
